Santhosh Mathevan has been a journalist since 2015 who writes features on cinema, TV/web series, relationships, culture, and history. As a journalist, he was working with leading print media houses including The New Indian Express, Vikatan, News Today, and Talk Media. He was also freelancing with media houses like The First Post, Cineulagam, The South First, Moviebuff, and many others.

Moving on from journalism, Santhosh entered the film industry as a script consultant and went on to become a full-time screenwriter working with production houses like Vivekananda Pictures, Estrella Stories, Happy High Pictures, and so on. During this time, he started teaching the nuances of Screenwriting to aspiring writers and filmmakers through his workshops and guest lectures.
He's currently working as a Content Manager (Tamil) at a leading Indian OTT Platform, Hoichoi. Santhosh has also been working with a number of production houses and filmmakers as a screenwriter, script doctor, and consultant across the South Indian film industries.
Along with that, he has launched his podcasting shows on cinema and relationships titled Thiraikkadhaippoma and Thaakkal Solla Vandhen. Of these, he has also integrated and been conducting screenwriting workshops with the Thiraikkadhaippoma show since 2021.
